[Gdal-dev] gdal_contour

Frank,

Yes, I am looking for a classification vectorizer. gdal_contour does an
excellent job and is very fast, but I realize it wasn't designed for this.
I have to buffer the results by half a pixel.

Thanks,
Drew.

Drew,

I am not familiar with such a tool within or built on the GDAL library.

Are you wanting something suitable to create a polygon layer from
a classification result? That is producing a polygon around each
connected group of pixels with exactly the same values? Or
something like contours which generates edge vectors between
pixels at various breakpoints?

Best regards,
