[Gdal-dev] distribution of unlimited ecw/jp2 files

With the creation of ecw or jp2 files using the gpl unlimited ecw
jpeg200 SDK license from ERMapper, is the distribution of these
compressed files acceptable under the agreement (either free or for
fee)?  Perhaps Tom could enlighten us here.
