[Gdal-dev] OCI driver and precision

Hi list,

just reporting something back to the list for future reference.

When trying to insert a shapefile into Oracle using ogr2ogr I got:

ERROR 1: ORA-01438: value larger than specified precision allowed for 
this column in OCIStmtExecute

and no data would got inserted.

I could solve this by using the PRECISION layer create option, i.e. -LCO 
PRECISION=NO
