[Gdal-dev] ECW not building in

Hi, Frank and everyone:

I followed a post you made earlier, Frank
(http://lists.maptools.org/pipermail/gdal-dev/2005-June/005949.html) to
build ECW as a supported GDAL format.  Many thanks for those pointers;
otherwise, I would never have gotten this far.  Everything built fine, but
gdalconfig --formats does not list ECW as a supported format.

Running the ./configure --with-ecw does give me the usual:
...
  JASPER support:            no
  ECW support:               yes
  MrSID support:             no
...

The ./make & ./make install work great.  But it doesn't show back up in the
final format list.

Do you have any ideas?
