Brillant! Thank you. I will use SHP instead of TAB for
rendering and edits...they're all much of a muchness
really. Besides, I can always write the data into a
new TAB file once a user decides to log out...so the
facility is there.
 
As for the documentation, thank you as well, very
thoughtful! 

If I have any probs, I'll let you know. In the
meantime, time to play :)
