 UTM and Transverse Mercator Projection has almost same
projection method.

 What kind of algorithm are employed in ogr2ogr's map
projection about conversion from UTM to Transverse
Mercator Projection in same area?

 Could it be that UTM-> geographic coordinates ->
Transverse Mercator?
