[gdal-dev] Max .png / Jpeg2000 file size

Hi Folks,
      I'm looking for specific limits on file sizes for different image
formats, specifically JPEG2000 and PNG.  The information at
http://www.gdal.org/formats_list.html leads me to believe the JPEG2000
format  has not limit, depending on which compressor you use.

      My quick reading of the png spec makes me think it might be 2 GiB per
chunk, but what's the overall file size limit?  Further web links welcome
:-).
