[gdal-dev] Building Gdal 1.5 beta on a 64 bit system.

I left out a few details from my first post. I'm using openSuse10.2 x86_64 with gcc 4.1.2. I got through a couple of links by installing 32 bit devel x11 files. I only had the 64 bit versions. Now it gets stuck on libidn so it looks like it wants all the 32 bit files. I tried --enable-libsuffix=64 but that didn't help. Something don't seem right since it must have compiled the files with the 64 bit header files. It does build successfully. Just can't link.
