[Gdal-dev] bug: gdalwarp producing larger files than no compressionat all

Hi Ed,

For me "geotifcp -c lzw" yields nearly identical results to 
"gdal_translate -co compress=lzw", only 11 bytes difference when 
compressing 270mb. Did you miss that it is with gdalwarp that I'm seeing 
the larger files?  I've also tried with packbits and get similar results 
so it's not lzw specific.


I didn't know that lzw is not so hot for photos, thanks!
