[Gdal-dev] support for python 2.5.1

Thanks Frank, you're right on target.  I do have multiple versions on 
this system and thought I had accounted for that w/ environment 
variables, but realize now that I had different settings for "configure" 
step than for the "make" step.

I appreciate the  suggestion!
