I never worked with HSV before. The processing option also accepts a file for
each band. Can't you translate a HSV colormap to RGB and feed that to
mapserver?

You mean as in: the scale and offset is properly applied? I haven't tried but
I guess is that this is al right because the min/max values returned by
gdalinfo are correct.
