[Gdal-dev] GDAL 1.4.2 Release Lead Up

Folks,

I would like to have a 1.4.2 GDAL bug fix release this week.  Tentatively
my plan is to produce an beta by wednesday evening.  Assuming there aren't
too many issues, I will aim to produce an RC1 by on the weekend which the
PSC can vote to accept as a formal release Monday and Tuesday.

Does this plan sound ok?  I'm hoping folks can make a push to clean up 1.4.2
bugs between now and Wednesday evening.

I have already created 1.4.3 release milestone, which I anticipate being
the last 1.4.x release.  I'll likely migrate a few bugs on to 1.4.3 that can't
practically be handled for 1.4.2.  The bugs currently targetted to the 1.4.2
release are:

Currently myself, Mateusz, Andrey, and Tamas has release bugs assigned.
