[Gdal-dev] Storing 2.5D elevations in Mapinfo .tab files

Hi,

 

I've been using OGR to read/write MapInfo .tab files with 2D lines and
string fields successfully (thanks!) but I can't figure out how to save
out per-vertex elevation data.

 

 I've tried setting OGRLineString coordinate dimensions to "3" and
saving out the .tab, but on reading it back it's always been flattened
to 2D

 

Do you know of any way to store 3D or 2.5D lines in a MapInfo .tab file?
