[Gdal-dev] Building with Xerces 2.7.0, 2.8.0 and 3.0.0

building with Xerces 2.8.0 on Solaris 10 (x86) worked as described:
87 roses [gdal/ogr] # ogrinfo --formats
Supported Formats:
-> "ESRI Shapefile" (read/write)
-> "MapInfo File" (read/write)
-> "UK .NTF" (readonly)
-> "SDTS" (readonly)
-> "TIGER" (read/write)
-> "S57" (read/write)
-> "DGN" (read/write)
-> "VRT" (readonly)
-> "AVCBin" (readonly)
-> "REC" (readonly)
-> "Memory" (read/write)
-> "BNA" (read/write)
-> "CSV" (read/write)
-> "GML" (read/write)
-> "KML" (read/write)
-> "Interlis 1" (read/write)
-> "Interlis 2" (read/write)
-> "GMT" (read/write)
-> "PostgreSQL" (read/write)
-> "OCI" (read/write)
