[gdal-dev] mutiple data sets usage with GDAL OPen

Hi all,
 I have use multiple data files in remote sensing Data analysis for muti-temporal data sets & for Auxillary data sets like DEM. Can any one help me how open mutiple data file using GDAL Open() function ot its equivalent in GDAL
