Thanks for your fast answer.
I'm using a quite new version:
alobo at alobo-laptop:~$ gdalinfo --version
GDAL 1.5.1, released 2008/03/14
I'm going to get the newest, and will let you know.
Is there a particular binary for ubuntu with
support for MrSid and ECW? or do you advice me to
compile?
