[gdal-dev] Georeferencing an ECW file

Jaean-Claude,
I've used ERMapper's ECW Header Editor (free download on
their web site) to edit the coordinate system definition
without re-compressing. It's a Windows GUI program so if
you've got lots of files to do you may want to use something
like AutoIt (http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/) to script
the changes.
