[gdal-dev] oci and sde drivers not registered

I am having problems getting to the OCI and SDE drivers loaded.

 

I initially pulled the FWTools.2.0.4 download then I downloaded the
precompiled OCI and SDE drivers from http://download.osgeo.org/gdal/.

When I execute ogrinfo -formats I see 26 drivers that were in the
initial configuration from FWTools.  I put the OCI and SDE dll's in the
FWTools.2.0.4/bin directory where the ogrinfo executable resides and I
added MSVCP71D.dll and MSVCR71D.dll because I received 2 errors while
running ogrinfo when it tried to load the ogr_SDE.dll.

 

Since I got the error while trying to load the load the SDE driver
before adding the dll's. I rashly assume that OGR recognizes the driver.

 

Is there some other step I need to take to get these last 2 drivers
registered?

 

Is there anything else I will have to do once ogrinfo sees the drivers
since I am using the C# wrapper in my code?
