[gdal-dev] gdal install

Hi all:
I want to use gdal 1.4.4 in windows, however it doesn't include a exe file as gdal-1.4.2.(Python_GDAL-1.4.2.win32-py2.4.exe).gdal-1.4.4 in my computer doesn't work with python2.5. Maybe I didn't install it correctly. Can somebody help me?
How to install gdal-1.4.4 with the file (gdalwin32exe144.zip)? If you did have a exe file like Python_GDAL-1.4.2.win32-py2.4.exe for python2.5,can you help me?
