[gdal-dev] divide by zero errors

I am using gdal in FWTools2.0.4

I have been processing some files from
ftp://ftpprd.ncep.noaa.gov/pub/data/nccf/com/gfs/prod/ in various formats
such as rucs, nam, gfs etc. 

I have encountered a problem with files that end with .grib2

 

For example if I run

 

gdalinfo -mm gdas1.t00z.engicegrb.grib2

 

it starts processing and then stops at band 1 

when debugged I get the following message

            Unhandled exception at 0x10049e24 in gdalinfo.exe : 0xC0000094.

            Integer division by zero.

 

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Or can anyone tell me what to do to get gdal to process these files?
