and read about NBITS

> gdal_translate -of gtiff -co Compress=LZW input.tif output.tif

gdal_translate -of gtiff -co Compress=LZW -co "NBITS=1" input.tif output.tif


p.s. Using "urgent" in the subject is unnecessary
