[gdal-dev] GDAL and strange HDF4 dataset.

Thanks for answer Frank.

I put the data set in a temporary directory of my site, this is the link 
for download it:

please tell me when you finish to download so I can remove file from my 
site.

The command line that I used to extract the band is this:

$ gdal_translate -b 1  -of GTiff 
HDF4_EOS:EOS_SWATH:"TDS_MYD021KM_04_delay.hdf":MODIS_SWATH_Type_L1B:EV_1KM_RefSB 
test.tif

My version of GDAL is:
$ gdalinfo --version
GDAL 1.5.1, released 2008/03/14

it was compiled with HDF4 lib version HDF4.2r2 (with 2r3 I could not 
compile GDAL)
