[gdal-dev] GDAL/OGR 1.6.0 beta2 available

Folks,

I have prepared a GDAL 1.6.0 beta2 cut last night.  It is available at:

Please file tickets for any new bugs found.

Developers are encouraged to be cautious about potentially disruptive
bug fixes from now till release.

It is intended that a 1.6.0 release candidate will be produced on
about the 26th of November.
