First of all many compliments for your job.

It would be great to have an updated version of win32 binaries.
The one in http://download.osgeo.org/gdal/win32/1.6/ is one year old
and the version is 1.6.0.

Also it would be great to have a fresher version of the python bindings
package. The one at pypi is for GDAL 1.6.1.
