[gdal-dev] gdalwrap support for non geo referenced images

Viswanath,

gdalwarp is used to reproject an image from one projection to another.
With no projection information or GCPs with your tiff there is no way it can
do that.

Perhaps you are looking for gdal_translate (
http://www.gdal.org/gdal_translate.html )
