[gdal-dev] Preserving Character Encoding

Hi All,
I'm using ogr2ogr to convert a shp file to GML. The issue I'm having is the
GML file has gotten rid of some of the character encoding. I need for my
vector feature labels to maintain their character sets. Any suggestions?
