[gdal-dev] A map conversion problem with GDAL 1.8.0

Corrado,

I see that the two projections are essentially the same. You may not need
gdalwarp after all. Try the gdal_translate utility with the -a_srs option to
specify the Coordinate System of the output file.

Tell us how it goes.
