[gdal-dev] Backport Ingres plugin

Hi all, just looking for a tip on backporting the OGR Ingres plugin from 1.9 to 1.8.  Anything in particular that comes to mind to watch for?  I'm naive enough to try to just copy latest 1.9 or trunk versions of the ingres plugin in - but it's not building Ingres support in for some reason.  No errors, but not taking advantage of latest features from 1.9 either.  Any suggestions?
