There is already the following for GDAL 2.0.X
http://download.osgeo.org/gdal/2.0.0/gdal-grass-2.0.0.tar.gz 

And for GDAL 2.1, a new snapshot from trunk with the above fix will be done. 
You can already build the plugin snapshot by yourself from the GDAL source 
tree :
- cd frmts/grass
- make dist
And this will generate gdal-grass-2.1.0.tar.gz
