[gdal-dev] How to install GDAL 2.x on CentOS 7 without being by building from source?

I would love to contribute to update EPEL version.
The last version was updated 1 year ago
http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/rpms/gdal.git/commit/?h=epel7
But I have no idea how to do it.
