Hi Developers,

how up-to-date is this page:

Log says, it's about 6 years old now.

It also says, among other things,

The GDAL PostGIS Raster driver does not support writing raster to the
database yet. But you can load raster data in the database in 2 ways:

Using raster2pgsql to load rasters
Creating rasters using PostGIS Raster functions
The write support to GDAL PostGIS Raster driver is under developme

Is this still valid? How much work is needed, to be able to use
gdalwarp instead of raster2pgsql ?
