Thank you for your very quick reply!

We're keen to use the NOAA NCEP grib tables, so the GDAL CSV files are
perfect for us!

I could definitely see myself taking responsibility for updating the
grib tables. But, before I commit, let's wait a few months to see how
my pet GRIB project progresses :)
