Hi Howard,

Where has the survey been announced? I've only seen it on this list, which
is explicitly for "developers using and building GDAL/OGR", which will skew
the pool of respondents!
I'd be interested to know if there truly is a large userbase of people
using it as a command line tool on Windows. My experience is that the
barrier to entry for building and using GDAL standalone on Windows is very
high, and I rely solely on Windows Subsystem for Linux (hence I responded
as a Linux user, not Windows) or drop down to something with an installer,
like QGIS, that "Just Works".
