[gdal-dev] Gdalenhance, VRT and LUT

Hi,

I tried to use gdalenhance by having VRT as the outputformat and supposed that the resulting VRT would contain LUT elements, but it did not. Is this a known but undocumented limitation in https://gdal.org/en/stable/programs/gdalenhance.html?
The LUT format that the utility prints into console is not directly usable in VRT

I was testing with GDAL 3.12.0dev-4947e350c1 and my command was

gdalenhance -of VRT -ot byte -equalize N5324F_cog.tif enhance01.vrt
