[gdal-dev] VRT File Support Within a Zstd-Compressed Zip

Hi Jordan,

The gdal-dev list is correct contact point, even you can also make a feature request at https://github.com/OSGeo/gdal/issues. The benefit of starting the discussion on the mailing list is that the  mailing list reaches also other users, who will see your idea and may support you "I need  that feature too"
Now that other users, including me, have not reacted, may mean that zstd compressed zips are not especially common.

The core GDAL developers are also reading the mailing list. I know that some of them have been busy with having presentations at conferences, and some of them have holidays. Probably they will answer you in near future.
