GDAL or OSGEO more generally - I haven't seen anything on this list ?

Is the problem copyright or reviewer resource ?
If it is reviewer resource, then in theory the current policy solves the
problem. If in practice that is not working, can we be sure that a total
moratorium will actually protect scarce maintainer effort ?

I have a driver that I would like to submit to GDAL once I have fixed
a long-standing bug which current stops it being of much use to anyone.
I have been weighing up using an AI or LLM to help me find the cause of
the issue. This change would mean I cannot ask an AI for help and then
submit the driver once I understand and take responsibility for its
suggestions.
