[Geodata] Landcover-DB Shapefile Download

Hi,
some of you already know from IRC, some probably still don't ....  ;-)

The "Landcover-DB", where I've been collecting vector data from approx.
a dozend different sources, now has, adding to the Mapserver/TileCache
capabilities, a web interface where you can specify a bounding box and
select a single layer that you'd like to download as Shapefile.

There are few contraints that are meant to implement certain rules on
the download process and which are explained on the download page.
Ignoring these rules currently will present some strange error messages
to you - I hope to put these into a nicer, explanatory shape pretty
soon ....  ;-)

The "NOTES" link points to a Wiki page which explains what the database
has to offer to you. I hope that this offer makes at least a few
people's lifes easier.
