Installing and running a default setup of Geonetwork seems to be pretty
simple. I'm a bit curious about the steps required to deviate from the
default install by a) runing Geonetwork under Tomcat and b) using a
different DB backend (PostgreSQL on a different machine).

So far I've been unable to find instructions on how to get there .... 
still reading The Manual.
