Just to let you know that this has not died in silence:
John Graham and I have recently been trying to get a 2.4 release setup
running on one of the machines at Telascience. The bare Geonetwork
instance itself seems to be working nicely under Tomcat, but we're
facing trouble getting the included Geoserver to work. Now we're
hopefully awaiting feedback from Jeroen.
