Thanks Phillip, Kurt. The efforts you put in for developing these excellent set of resources have provided us strong foundation that we all can make use of and build upon.

For the GeoforAll sprints in South Africa and also at FOSS4G regional conferences in 2016 (it is good timing as Ela is already working for Bonn Geo4Allevent), we will now start planning series of sprint events for expanding and keeping this updated. In fact, we will invite the wider geocommunity to also contribute to the sprint efforts.

All who wish to contribute/participate in the SA Sprint event (both in person and remotely) , please inform Bridget Fleming Email - bridget at afrispatial.co.za

Thanks.

Suchith

Jeff, You must have been eavesdropping on some of our phone calls while developing the GeoAcademy :)!
We’ve discussed this many times as the only hope to keep the five GeoAcademy courses up to date with new releases of QGIS. I think I even mentioned that in my talk in Denmark!

Nottingham sounds great and I also Nodebo is a great cozy, comfortable place to work.

The GeoAcademy courses could be one of the targets for such a curriculum sprint. http://fossgeo.org/free-qgis-courses/

I am in full support!
Kurt
