The PhD Programme in Urban Planning, Design and Policy (UPDP) at Politecnico di Milano grants 5 full scholarships for the coming year.

Applicants are requested to submit a research proposal with reference to topics of their interest.

We encourage proposals covering topics such as:
•Multi-scalar regional urbanization processes
•Advances and challenges in contemporary planning practice dealing with urban transitions towards sustainability
•Spatial and social segregation and their effects on urban populations
•Tools for the evaluation and management of urban projects
•Novel Approaches for the Co-Design of Urban Services towards the Sharing Society

The PhD Programme in Urban Planning, Design and Policy welcomes both foreign and Italian students.

English is the official language of the programme.
