> Lead and support the research in partnership with the Cooperative Research Center for Spatial Information.

> The Curtin Spatial Sciences Department is an acknowledged leader for research of international significance in the areas of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), geodesy, photogrammetry and laser scanning, and geographic information systems and remote sensing. The Department is a core participant in the Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information (CRCSI), a major national collaborative research effort with industry, government and academia.

> As an Associate Professor you will provide strategic leadership in the development of research and teaching, and application of innovative solutions in the spatial information industry. This would include such areas as geospatial data analytics, semantic web, geospatial semantics, big data management, data supply chains, provenance, spatial infrastructures, cloud computing solutions. In addition liaise with CRCSI Science Directors to investigate spatial infrastructures in the context of the emerging research of rapid spatial analytics and liaise with other universities and partners to promote collaborative research.
