Dear Maria, Dear All,

I think that’s a very good idea, and I will be pleased to circulate an announcement for this special issue to colleagues working at the UN.

Cheers

Greg

I'll try, even if I know that there are other people in our network that are in contact with other Agencies or other sectors of UN. Gregory and Ela as well they can help probably with these other contacts.
Cheers.

Alongside this -clever- approach to the UN OpenGis Initiative it will be good to try a collaboration between Geoforall and other UN Agencies, mostly Unesco (also Unicef, Fao...). Maria, do you think it will be appropriate to talk about this in the workshop? (I mean, in the coffee-break)

Hi Maria,

Yes, it will be great to have a special issue. In fact, we can have an issue with articles from UN only and cover as many topics as they would like to. I mean, it is not necessary to cover only the topic of the workshop you are into. It will be very interesting to promote their ideas on the educational sector of UN.
Please, have a discussion with them and we will proceed accordingly.

Wishes
Nikos

Thanks! I'll present the newsletter on Wednesday during my presentation at UN. I want also to propose them a special session of the newsletter dedicated to UN with the updates of UN geospatial unit activities.
Do you agree?
In case, I can help on that.
Cheers.
