Dear all,

On behalf of Geo for All , i would like to congratulate Prof. Sergio Rey [1] ( Arizona State University, USA) for winning the UCGIS 2016 Research Award [2]. We are grateful for Sergio and all his colleagues at GeoDa Centre at Arizona State University for thier contributions to Open Geospatial Science. We are confident that with many research universities now establishing dedicated research labs will help accelerate Open Geospatial Science to higher levels.

The GeoDa Centre at Arizona State University is a key Geo4All lab in the USA [2]. USA has the largest number of Geo4All research labs and we are looking forward to expand collaborations with UCGIS for rapidly expanding Open Geospatial Science.

Best wishes,

Suchith
