Hi all,
I have finalised the GeoForAll Map as far as I could: used colours and fonts from the new OSGEO style guide, made behaviours and looks match in most browsers (testing on Win was a bit limted, so please report any errors). Result is here:
http://kartoweb.itc.nl/D3tests/GeoForAllMap/
I have also put the code and data on GitHub:
https://github.com/kobben/GeoForAllMap
So the web site devs can pick it up there and edit the CSS and index.html to make it fit in the new site...
Note that the map at present loads the data from a .csv file that I created from the wiki table. I suppose/hope the new website will have a DB backend, and it should then pick it up from that, and also would enable easiers edits./additions. If needed I am willing to help with that.

Hi Jeffrey,
Thanks for the pointers. I notice that the styleguide asks for special fonts to be used (MiriamLibre and Sintoni), but how to do that on the website? Are these fonts accessible as webfonts or any way to convert them from the .ttf versions supplied...?
Hi, if you just go to Google Fonts, you can get the code to put to HTML:
https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Miriam+Libre
https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Sintony
However, this will work only if you are online, if you need offline use or you want to host it yourself, here is what Jody G. found:
https://stackoverflow.com/a/27696481/574907
https://google-webfonts-helper.herokuapp.com/fonts/sintony?subsets=latin
Tested both. It work well.

Barend,
Note the development version of the new site is up here
http://osgeo.getinteractive.nl/initiatives/geo-for-all/ <http://osgeo.getinteractive.nl/initiatives/geo-for-all/> ... Would be
nice to look at integrating this map in the space you see in the page
where it goes.
You might try matching the colors to the new color scheme. We have an
example of this here

(click the osgeo style in the bottom)
Happy to coordinate with you on integrating this into the site.

project around (orthographic, i.e. "as seen from space"). See a first test at
