Attention mapping community!
There is less than one week to apply for the Winter 2017 term of the New Maps Plus program.  This program is a series of three online graduate courses focused on online and open source mapping solutions, JavaScript programming, and cartographic design for the web.
MAP 671 - Intro to New Mapping<http://newmapsplus.uky.edu/map671-introduction-new-mapping-syllabus> - focuses on open source desktop GIS workflow for web production.
MAP 672 - Programming for Web Mapping<http://newmapsplus.uky.edu/map672-programming-web-mapping-syllabus> - introduces students to JavaScript, HTML and CSS and is perfect for those who have work experience in desktop GIS, but have not yet begun web mapping.
MAP 673 - Design for Interactive Web Mapping<http://newmapsplus.uky.edu/map673-syllabus> - integrates the principles of geographic representation and web programming in order for students to develop high-quality interactive web maps.
