Imagine that Uber establishing in Uganda, a country without street
address, hires a school leavers without any idea about contemporary
cartographic and mapping techniques!

Or Global North construction firm in Urban Engineering set shop in the
Global south where smart cities are still a distant dream but are now
the model for Urban Development and form in Africa.

Africa's needs are urgent and a prerequisite for global urban transformation.

Will the world miss a growing critical mass necessary for the required
transformation – if Africa is not marching with the 4th industrial
revolution ?

Writing curricula in Smart Cities academic programs will be hard for
Africa without the experiences from industrial cities.

On the other hand training undergraduates in smart cities programs
will go a long way to plant a new crop of people with a new
perspective about urban planning in Africa. There is an urgent need to
train many young Africans as possible.

I need volunteer academic institution to educate Ugandan and/or East
Africans in those fields to generate the required academic and
knowledge material resources to propel the new Urban Forms.
If professors or your institution is interested Get in touch – then we
can brain storm and see how this could be done.
