GeoForAll Community,

I would like to invite all of you to participate in a series of upcoming events beginning this Friday.

The American Geographical Society (AGS) is leading a national and international conversation on the ethical use of geospatial technology and location tracking during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. With a generous grant from the Henry Luce Foundation, we are building on our EthicalGEO initiative, and convening a series of Blue-Ribbon Panels and Leadership Spotlights to advance the dialogue, and frame the discussion, on the impact of mobile location technology on society and governance. Our Blue-Ribbon Panels and Leadership Spotlights, consisting of leading experts from the United States and around the world, will discuss the effects of these technologies on all of us including our most vulnerable populations during COVID-19, and beyond.
