[Geomoose-users] Printing

Jay this a problem between Screen and Print Resolutions.
Essentially there are two options:
Preserve the Extent of the map in the print out
-or-
Preserve the Scale of the map in the print out
We went with the first option since people generally want the view on the map to match the view on the print out.

Yea if I zoom in they start to
appear…are there two different levels to set here….
I set the max extent to display on the labels the map file…but that does notseem to be the same as the Print PDF.
Seems they are separate. How
can I set this to where if they are seen in the map they will print on the map?

It should print them. What is the data source of those
labels? It also could be a scale threshold happening. If you zoom
in further do they appear on the .pdf?

Does the printing not print the labels?
THe house numbers see here are labeled from the Parcels
layer then map below (PDF) removes them?
