AGG rendering works fine, you just need to turn interlacing off IIRC.

Dan, can correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think anyone has
funded or contributed re-writing the print.php code to support AAG rendering.

Subject: [Geomoose-users] printing with AGG renderer
Hello,
In 1.4 I noticed that AGG mapfiles
would draw, however they would not show up in the legend. At 1.6.1 the
legend does display correctly. My problem right now is that I cannot get
AGG to print to PDF files correctly. If I have transparent true in my
.map file I will see the top layers with a black background behind it. If
I remove transparent true the layer will draw with a white background.
Does anyone have any advice as to
how I can use the AGG render engine to print maps?
Thanks
